49er Athletics

The University’s Board of Trustees voted to add football at their Nov. 13, 2008 meeting. Chancellor Dubois proposed a fundraising plan that included the sale of 5000 49er Seat Licenses (FSL's). A 49ers Seat License (FSL) gives the license-holder the right to purchase 49ers Football season tickets. The Charlotte 49ers are scheduled to field a football team in 2013.

There are three tiers of FSLs: Green Tier, Gold Tier and White Gold Tier.

Costs and seat locations are as follows:

Green Tier: $1,000 (seat located between the End Zone and the 30-Yard line)

Gold Tier: $2,500 (seat located between the 30-Yard lines)

White Gold Tier: Premium FSLs (contact the 49ers Athletic Foundation for details

Athletic Foundation membership is not required to purchase up to four Green Tier FSLs. Athletic Foundation membership is required, beginning in fiscal year 2013 (July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013) at a minimum contribution level of $1,500 to purchase Gold Tier and more than four Green Tier FSLs. For the Green and Gold Tiers, your initial seat location will be determined by your Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation rank on June 30, 2013. Your rank is determined by the total number of priority points earned in your Athletic Foundation membership history. Fans who are not members of the Athletic Foundation may join for as little as $49 a year. 

Membership will enable you to begin earning points that will affect your ranking. FSL purchases can be divided into four payments over the next four years or paid for monthly through June 1, 2012.
