Your local Department of Motor Vehicles has applications available for the UNC Charlotte collegiate license plate. You can have a randomly assigned number-or choose to have yours personalized! It's only $25 a year for a regular plate, $55 for a personalized one (None of the personalized fees come back to UNC Charlotte). The Alumni Association promotes this specialized plate for alumni, students, and friends. The DMV statute stipulates that $15 of the $25 fee will be returned to the University for academic use. To date, over $100,000 has been contributed to the Alumni Association Scholarship endowment, providing scholarships to students at UNC Charlotte.

Library / Student Activity Center Access
The Office of Alumni Affairs provides cards for alumni to have Library and Student Activity Center passes. In order to get a card, please call 704‑687‑7799 and provide your most up to date contact information. You will then be able to come by and pick up your card at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen.
- The cards are free, but access to the S.A.C. does require a small fee each time. Please call 704‑687‑7799 for more information.
